pl. add with post, patient with prosthetic valve is very prone to embolization and anticoagulant is mandatory. as patient has haemorrhagic stroke , warfarin is contraindicated. can we use low molecular weight heparin for this case,.

Yes, We can use LMWH, like ENOXAPARIN.

They are associated with less Hemorragic episodes.

Can I ask what was the cause of the haemorrhage - clearly if an av malformation that you can coil versus amyloid angiopathy the risk / benefits of anticoagulation differ greatly? sadian

primarily intervention should be done whatever the cause of haemorrhage .anticoagulent for ischemic cvd prevention in high risk patients . so can we justify lmwh.
