Those are cystic lesions in the cervix of the uterus (besides the Rt. calcified broad ligament fibroid).....what are the commonest causes of cervical cysts? And why is the cervix located anterior to the fundus of uterus?

The cervix is studded with cysts.......the uterus is severely retroflexed ...

The cervix is severely retroflexed with multiple cysts within it.. these are called Nabothian cysts.. a common and benign finding.

What can you opine from these images? This is a young lady with pelvic pain. These are transabdominal ultrasound images. Transvaginal images will follow: What is that in the right adnexal region (right of the uterus.. on the left side of the image): This was the main finding--- And what is that in front of the body of uterus? Do you see some cystic lesions there? (an incidental finding): Power Doppler ultrasound image below: same region as previous image:

--looks like a calcified mass-a fibroid/a cyst with rim calcification
