This is a normal variant of the gall bladder- the Phrygian cap gall bladder. See: http://www.ultrasound-images.com/gall-bladder.htm#Normal_anatomical_variants_of_the_gall_bladder:_The_phrygian_cap This is not an abnormality and does not have any clinical significance. Not uncommon on sonography. |
