In Response to Re: Radiology quiz July 2011 - 1: there is no thing in radiology called (see this picture and tell me the diagnosis...... particularly ultrasound...., ) nevertheless, I love doing this to my colleagues. in the photos you gave: 1: an axial scan for the urinary bladder showing a significant dilatation of / at the ureteric insertion (right one) into the urinary bladder. No acoustic shadow for stones. 2: the right kidney shows hydronephrosis with preserved renal cortical echogenecity. but not sure about the corticomedullary differentiation if you give some information like is this a congenital disease of the insertion?!! or .. something we miss .. other photo clinical info.... Posted by M.B.Ibrahim Ibrahim, You are on the right course...right teminal ureter is distended.....so what is the diagnosis.... this is a urological case with complaints of pain on right side.... Joe. |
