Deep vein thrombosis of the left femoral vein with thrombus extension into the left popliteal vein.

Just looking at the image it appears to be deep veinous thrombosis (DVT) at the level of the femoral vein, there no collapse in the vein, however based on the PE I would also have said DVT.
Arterial obstruction would cause paleness not swelling. Pain can be present in venous and arterial obstruction.CoolSealedLaughing

Yes. most of you have got it right. Deep venous thrombosis inolving the femoral and popliteal veins. It was difficult to visualize the veins distal to the popliteal vein due to edema.
