I was reading today BMJ, and I was interested to read that the trial team of Tranexamic acid, which is used in reducing bleeding in patients after surgery, could not exclude the benficial or harmful effects of it in traumatic brain injury patients. This is the lnik to the abstract of CRASH-2 STUDY: http://www.bmj.com/content/343/bmj.d3795.abstract More clinical trials needed.. |

surgical intervention may be best option. antifibrinolytic or factor 7 may be marginally beneficial but lot of side effect on IHD patients. |
