I have flickering lights in my peripheral vision this morning and know that I'm about to have a migraine. I hate migraines although knowing mine are sensory has removed my fear of having a premature stroke. When I got into the BMJ a colleague had found this on the BBC news site: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-17039135 Apparently botox is approved as a treament for chronic migraines (which I don't have) but Nice says there is inufficient evidence it works. What is interesting is that the Migraine Society is said to be disappointed (why if there isn't evidence) and that you need 31 injections every 12 weeks. Is it put anywhere where it will also reduce wrinkles?.
