The last decade has seen comic book heros explode onto the big screen and shift into pop. culture consciousness.  They're always up for a good fight against evil etc., but which superpower would you find most useful in your personal clinical practice?

Easy for me... x-ray vision!

There cannot be a 'superpower' like the following three -
1. Good clinical history talking followed by expert, vigilant clinical examination,
2. An ECG &,
3. Blood glucose test.
'X-Ray vision' might be a good tool for the fiction lovers to scan the hips.

Magneto's power - control of magnetism, but also (in some Marvel realities) control over the whole electromagnetic spectrum.  Whenever there's any metal around, Magneto can fly, create a shield, create a weapon....  Not much use when there's no metal around, but there's metal everywhere these days, isn't there?  And being able to stop bullets is a good start for any superhero.

And he can control x-rays, IR, and UV.

Super-rapid alcohol clearance.
Hang on fellers, maybe not.   That will make me the permanent driver on pub crawls.

The Vulcan nerve pinch would reduce the anaesthesia drug bill to zero and mean that I, personally, would be the Saviour of the NHS.  Busy, though.

Ability to wrap my arm around a patient's instead of a tournequet, like Elastigirl in the Incredibles.   I can, of course, perform venipuncture one handed.
