Hi, I'm new to this forum, so I'm not too sure if this is the right place to post. I've recently just read "the forgetting" by David Shenk and thought that I'd look into Alzheimer's a bit more. In the book it presents the idea of using antibodies with beta amyloid, decreasing the amyloid plaque in the brain. But I also thought that with stem cell technology advancing, have there been any trials that give information that show stem cells helping reduce/cure Alzheimers? E.g. on animals/humans? As I've been trying to get hold of some statistics, but haven't been able to find any, and would be grateful for some help. Thanks :)
