Why nurses are always regard themselves as managers, who nagg all the time to doctors, demmanding them to prescribe, or "delete" this, or another medication, when the doctors are those who treat and make decisions about their patient's treatment. I am speechless that in this country doctors are actually slaves to the nurses and looked upon as they are nothing else but "writing drug charts, under the demmands of the nurses". Wired!

It has been always like this. I know in France and Belgium things like this are simply not permitted, but saddly not here.

Always? Why always? If so - it should be stopped. It is about the time, don't you think?

It is not only that nurses nag and try to manipulate in this country, but they are always managers, bed managers, ward managers, etc. Whys is that in this country? Why we doctors allow them to boss and manage us? Can't be a doctor manager?

A long time ago, when Mrs.Thatcher was in power and the idea of "doctor managers" for the new model for hospital management was rolled out with clinical directors responsible for departments,  I was one.  But I moaned to a friend who was a civil engineer and a partner in a large engineering practice, that, "doctors became doctors to treat people - we don't want to be managers!"
At this, he grew quite heated, and gave me a lecture on how other professions are organised.  His view was that as you gained experience and seniority, it was appropriate - nay, necessary - for you to take  a larger and larger part in the running of your practice.   Not the design and execution of, in his case, engineering projects, but how the firm was run.

Further, he said that doctors should grow up!  This was the way of the world for professional people, and if doctors felt differently they were in an ivory tower.  Maybe the dragons have come and we have left defending the tower too late.

I wasn't clear, Duane.
I wasn't talking about patient management, but about hospital management.
But I acknowledge your point, and observe that in the uS many more doctors are managers, helping to run the 'Firm'.
