Does anyone think this is money well spent and is there any evidence that previous reorganisations (and let's face it we have had a fair few in the NHS)  were worth it? sadian

From what I have noticed , when the politicians make a mistake which is obvious after some years that this was a mistake ; they say this was a mistake and they have finished . And after that they say ; we will lower more your salaries to make things better . And if again things go wrong then again there is no problem for them ; they lower again the salaries ( of course not their own salaries ) to make again things better .

We are getting into a spiral were the privat sector will be parasitic over the state sector . And the state sector will be parasitic over the people .

The proposed changes are possibly the most ideologically-based of the last 30 years, and that's saying something. There is very ittle evidence to support any of the major elemnts of the Act. If enabling fragmentation of the NHS rhrough privatisation is a desirable outcome, it will be £1.5 billion very well spent. Many of the MPs and Peers (of all persuasions) who supported it, or like the lily-livered Lib Dems &'cross-benchers, failed to kick it out, will also benefit financially through directorships, share options, etc etc. Snouts in trough and all that. Outrageous.

NOT AT ALL;

With all these cost-effective, economically conservative guidelines of the NHS healthcare system,

1bn is theoritical (no imagination!!).
