In Response to Re: DOCTORS IN SUSPENSION/EXCLUSION: RETURNING TO WORK after suspension? How would you and the rest of doc2doc readers would feel in my situation? Would you/they feel safe? I very much doubt. And at the end of the day - is ist worth going back to there, where you've been ridiculed, mocked and ignored. This is emotional rape, Men can be raped too. In Response to Re: DOCTORS IN SUSPENSION/EXCLUSION: lawyers and politicians. In those positions they can satisfy their egos and extract substantial remuneration from the public that they like to abuse. Posted by Clintb unfortunately this is the reality, if you want to learn the outcome, please contact me on my private message box herePosted by drmk You see, you came across something called stiffed upper lip, which the locals are famous with. I am new here, but i read the whole discussion. It is amazing how people run into the bushes, offering plenty of help, but no one tells his own storry. As foreign doctors, it is impossible for us to know all about the local culture of hypocracy and political correctness. I too am curious to hear from other colleauges, let say from Spain, Greece, Kurdestan, Italy, Poland, Russia about their process of addaptation. I personally originate from outside anglo-saxons and it was difficult for me to accept that they do not speak up, they do not express trheir emotions, there is no connection between mind and heart. Not surprisingly the hospitals are full with suicidal individuals, self harmers and mental. If you as a doctor speak up, you are seen as not civilised one, you always have to follow policies, whistle blowing stuf and if you do not, then you get in troubles. My sympathy to your case. |
