In Response to Re: CPC Case (Surgery): The ill defined masses on all quadrants might be the greater omentum/enlarged lymph nodes that are trying to guard off active infection sites. The presence of Fever seconds an infective pathology. Can the patient localise the pain to any specific quadrant or is it generalised like the tenderness? I would like to know where the patient lives. This significantly affects the list of differential diagnoses. The patient is not having any cramps, I believe? Posted by phoeniX It could be the enlarge lymph nodes. Do you have any impression? This is the only data that are given to us. Can you help us with this?

In Response to Re: CPC Case (Surgery): In Response to Re: CPC Case (Surgery) : It could be the enlarge lymph nodes. Do you have any impression? This is the only data that are given to us. Can you help us with this? Posted by Inspiron We once saw a case during our surgery rounds who was a middle aged man presenting with generalised swellings over the abdomen and h/o fever. He was actually having Extra Pulmonary Tuberculosis with the enlarged Lymph nodes presenting as masses.
However, your case may have an altogether different differential. Any idea about the epidemiological factors of your case? |
