Hello Dr. Ashutosh:

Thanks for this extensive review of Amiodarone (almost a textbook chapter!).

It has been a very useful drug, and many times is the first choice for chemical reversion of Acute Atrial Fibrillation into Sinus Rhythm in the general  ICU where I work.

All Best,

Joey

Respected Prof. Happy, It would definitely be helpful to your students & there is absolutely no need of my 'permission' in the best interests of the medical students, in fact I would feel privileged.
Many thanks for your encouraging words!

Excellent detailed commentary on a widely used drug in New Zealand, usually started in hospital, not necessarily by competent cardiologists I might add, and then GPs are left to make decisions about how long to continue, at what dose and when to discontinue. I know this decision can cause a lot of angst amongst my colleagues and so it will be helpful to share this knowledge with them. Thank you.
