How many GPs will get through revalidation?

One in 10 GPs may have performance problems when it comes to revalidation. It could be even more - as this estimate (reported in the magazine Pulse) comes from GPs who have volunteered to take part in revalidation pilots. They might be expected to be more confident of their capabilities than others. Pulse says that "performance concerns were identified for 24 of 245 GPs appraised, most related to ‘insufficient time spent practising’.
Are these the sorts of numbers we were expecting?
