Just as we were about to move from breast milk to cow's milk I started to be taken in by the TV advertising for 'Follow-On' and 'Toddler' milk. My little boy has been on these for some time now and I don't know what evidence exists for the benefits of formula over cow's milk. At some level I can't help feeling that I have fallen for the hype... |

Cows milk every time- don't get suckered into formula toddler milk. No nutritional advantage and more expensive and less conventient. However it can be difficult to get toddlers onto cow's milk because it is less sweet than the formula and breast milk. But it's all marketing- no need and most toddlers get enough vits etc through normal well balanced diet so don't need topping up through formula milk. |
