In Response to Zimbabwe's MPs to be circumcised in bid to fight HIV: To become a circumcised role model for a nation where the number of HIV positive people is more than a million. The 120 male members of parliament of Zimbabwe have been decided to be circumcised in the light of recommendations of experts endorsed by WHO & UNAIDS Secretariat that male circumcision now be recognized as an additional important intervention to reduce the risk of heterosexuality acquired HIV infection in men by approximately 60%. Contrast that with infants who have no choice in the matter. I would be interested to know of the number of MPs undergoing circumcision are in happy married relationships. |
