This triad of being a doctor,a wife and a mother is an important feature that can be so challenging. Each component of the triad demands highly of the person. And any distortion in equillibrium shows negelect or marked signs of irresponsibility and no one seems to understand, it is a problem with us. Hw do we cope?Hw can we keep the equillibruim in tact? |

Let go of trying to be 'perfect' in each role and decide, instead, how to be 'good enough.' This means deciding what you can let go, what to delegate to others and what you can do while being much better organised. You need great support systems too so that when things become too busy in one or other sphere of life, (as they will do from time to time, however organsied you think you are!) you will have someone or something to help you through a diffciult patch. |
