Yes, welcome to this site of 50,000 members of whom about 2% contribute regularly as the others are shy. Of those 2%, about 2% contribute very regularly for the majority of people are spectators and few get on the court, pick up a ball,  a racket, or a foil.

However, these few are the salt of society which gives it its flavour while all the others just smell its  aroma.

So put your toe in the water and  launch in with a splash. The water gets warmer the longer you are in. You might  find your mind's eye breathes air  and water.

Odysseus; by name and by nature.

Welcome all New Members,    this forum is a place to learn and teach.   One might liken us to a vast ocean of knowledge,  which sometimes gets stormy and the waves threaten to crash our ships!   However, Odysseus serves as our anchor keeping us rooted in truth, whilst we struggle to role up the Sails, and pitch our ships into the wind.    BMJ is a great adventure,   Do put your toe in the water,  it is a great experience. My two boys( 13 and 15) are the pride and joy of my life- both very intelligent but does not want to follow in Dad's footstep. And not to mention my wife of 19 years ( she is/was a Londener)- and yes we drink coffee in our house.

Dogs ( have 2 and trying to get a third but wife does not budge), and gardening are my passion. I also tinker in the stock market (go aaple).

I have three dogs and have had three for some time only not these same dogs. I found out years later that there are three dogs on the family crest not that we are noble. On the other hand we are not ignoble.

Dogs are happy unless you get unhappy one which is rare.

I could share some dog stories but this is not a dog post and I may be accused of wandering off topic and peeing on a different post or is it tree?

Good afternoon, sorry for the delayed reply. I am Markos. I am relatively new - have started posting in May 2012. Working as a junior doctor and looking for my next appointment. I apologise if my posts, among them -  DOCTORS IN EXCLUSION, SENIOUR DOCTORS preaching Koran, DOCTORS first job in the UK, DOCTORS job interviews, etc, appear "sad" for some of the audience at doc2doc. Thank you to all of you, who took care and time to reply.

Hi, As we are all new to the site I thought it might be a good idea for us all to get together and post a little bit about ourselves. I'll go first. I am a 26 year old guy from Cambridge, I have been working as a community manager for over 4 years now. I have been involved in communities' since bulletin boards were around in the 90's, you could say that I was a natural. On a more personal level, I enjoy travelling and have spent many months in and  around Asia. Please feel free to post on my profile or email me directly at community.doc2doc@bmjgroup.com should you have any questions or just fancy a chat.
