Next week (9 Feb), BMJ Learning will interview Dr Paul Zollinger-Read, Chief Executive of NHS Cambridgeshire, for a podcast. In 2009, he began managing a transition that handed commissioning from the PCT to local GPs. Almost a year and a half down the line, a number of GP consortia now commission healthcare in the area.

Any questions you’d like us to ask on your behalf? About the experience of GPs in the Cambridgeshire area? How it succeeded or failed? Drawing from your experience in a “pathfinder” consortium? Or any other questions related to how the new system might work? Or how a general practice might function under the government's proposals?

Do let me know.

Does it make GPs lives harder or easier?

How much extra work does it involve for GPs?

Please clarify the difference between this and fundholding

What are patients' reactions?
