Does anyone know what is needed to get an AFP post?
I dont have a strong research background, just a BMedSci degree, have done a research project before but I stupidly never sent it off for abstract proposals as I didnt think i'd want to do an AFP until now. I've had posters accepted for other patient safety work, am involved in a few audits, but have no publications, and am President of the Patient Safety Society at my Uni.
Also, for the Thames Unit of Application, it states you could list a distinction as an example of high academic achievement.... what is a distinction... is it top 10% of your class, or is it over 70% in any module?
And finally, does anyone know of any resources to prepare/guide you through the application process, e.g. any books or online resources... I know theres lots for the Normal Foundation Programme recuitment process.
Any help greatly appreciated!!
