I love the new poll feature, its a great way to see what everyone thinks on some of these issues. What do people think of creating a page with all the previous poll results on?

 Hi David,

Thanks for all these polls update. I was wondering if you could make these data in charts! It could be pie chart or bar diagram or any of those like trend!

The poll is all exhibited when you vote and it will be interesting to look in chart when you post here. I hope that is not too much work for you. I know some of these online polls do have chart feature as well.

One more point about doc2doc, is it still suffering from technical difficulty? When I click 'next' page, it never displays. It is blank and it does not even say loading. It stays forever and I have to refresh to get it. It displays sometimes and sometimes it does not. It has been here for a while.

Similarly, when I read blogs; sometimes comments are displayed and sometimes they are not. So much so, comments do not show even if  I click comments though it shows number of comments!

Thanks.

Hi Mati,

Great to hear from you, thanks for rapid responding to my article over on BMJ Careers.

Certainly an interest point about using the data from the polls, perhaps that is something you would be interested in creating? As most of the poll were yes / no how would you plot that it charts and graphs?

I am sorry to hear about the technical issues you are facing, could you please email me at disaacson@bmj.com detailing the issue and what internet browser you are using to access doc2doc. Hopefully that information will help our technical developer fix any potential bugs.

Thanks, David - doc2doc community manager

 Thanks David,

You are most welcome about that. I enjoyed reading about forums and also visited them. I got points about poll and forum. I will report if any.

Thanks Mati. I can confirm that there is an issue rendering forum content in webkit browsers (Google Chrome and Safari). I have forwarded the information you sent me over to our technical colleagues whom will investigate the issue further. Before a fix is released for this, may I suggest you use Firefox as an alternative browser?

David

I find the result of the last poll deeply embarrassing. I can only hope that it arose as a result of some of us misunderstanding the question. I do hope the pro-'junkie' majority will stick to their guns and use this perjorative term widely in their legal reports, professional exams and at coroner's' inquests. They may then receive a more definitive answer to the question.
