Big thanks to James, our developer in technology, we now have virtual badges and downloadable certificates for members of the doc2doc community who are regular contributors.

Bronze badges are being awarded to members who have posted 50 times in doc2doc forums; silver badges to members who have posted 100 times; gold badges to members who have posted 500 times; and platinum badges to members who have posted 1000 times.
Congratulations to yoram chaiter, Matiram Pun, and Odysseus who are the first members of the community to be awarded platinum badges!

Currently, rewards are only available for posts in doc2doc forums. The number of blogs or blog comments you have posted are not counted when these rewards are issued. However, members of the community who have blogged regularly will be awarded with separate blogging badges, and doc2doc champions with separate champions' badges.

To see which rewards you have, go to the purple "My doc2doc" button above.

In the coming months you will also be able to link your doc2doc rewards to your BMJ portfolio (hosted by the BMJ Learning department).

If you experience any technical problems with the rewards system, please let us know on this thread.

Platinum is the universal catalyst so I suppose this is a plus. We might just generate some original thought which is like Original SIn only more difficult.

I think my post on climate change probably counts as about ten post in one!

Where do the cyber badges come from? What do they look like and can we put them on our computers and do they come as tattoos so we can where them on our deltoids and medical parties and send everyone unconscious from  our verbal posts to the cyber filter feeders. Do they say "EXTERMINATE" and if not why not as that is one of the few original statements to eminate from the UK since Chamberlain said "Peace in our time".

I would like one in a box please. Since I collect medals, coins etc.  I really like it.
I would also like a framed certificate. I already have a place on the wall of my office for it... so hurry, send it. Odysseus surely has a place on his boat for it.If not, a badge to wear on jacket wouldCool be welcomed...

I could have it as a flag on my jackstaff of my boat and fly it along with my Red Ensign and Jolly Roger.

I would prefer one made from platinum befitting the share holders of the BMJ. Why not an Emmy Award Night and we could make boring speeches and thank Mom and my Adoring Wife and my dog, Roy and make sure I say nothing original lest you all wake up.
