In Response to Re: What I wish I knew before applying to medical school...: For me front line clinical care was the turning point in the success of my application- properly getting your hands dirty and holding the hand of sick patients is by far favourable to observing one the worlds best surgeon. Paid work is especially valued / required as a graduate in most cases-from my experience. Neil-happy to contribute to this ebook if it would have a graduate medicine section?
