Having worked with SM (facebook, twitter and blogs mainly) some Trust do not have guide lines or protocols with regards to the use and setting up of accounts and use of SM.

I have lost count of the number of school teachers they have and have not been disciplined due to their friendship on facebook.

I do see a need for deparments and certain groups to have accounts etc but your personal - ie away from work account should remain private and the both should not meet.

When this has happend in the past it becaomes messy very quicky.
