I thought it was wrong but he who pays the piper calls the tune and given that the BMJ subsidises the BMA I guess we just have to get on with it. |

Hi Happy. The perceived problem with this is that BMJ is a subsidary of the BMA (but retains editorial independence.) BMA members might think that the BMJ was intentionally undermining the BMA pension campagin by putting out an advert by the Department of Health, of whom they are at loggerheads with. There are probably differences of opinion on both sides over what the BMJ should publish. Should you not have a free and fair exchange of views?. There was an interesting article by Kinesh Patel at the BMJ, about, why the industrial action never really took off and why the doctors would lose. Posted by Happy |
